Even with
modern satellite technology, we still can't detect every bit of rock that enters our world's atmosphere. This is because most of the time, the rocks or meteors that enter our planet's atmosphere get vaporized, or they're all just too damn small for anyone to notice. But early last week, a 12-kilo chunk of meteorite debris fell on the town of Reisadalen in Norway. Of course, this caused quite a stir, especially with the military patrolling its skies! Plus, a certain astronomer from Oslo's local university almost caused a statewide panic!
