One of the
most delicious pastries that recently became my favorite is the tart. In Finland, I have discovered a tart that is both yummy and historically good. This the tart named after the national poet of
Finland -- Runeberg tart.
The
Runeberg tart is a tribute to Johan Ludvig Runeberg, who created the Tales of of Ensign Stal. I do not exactly know how to make the Runeberg tart, but this treat seems like any other heavenly tart, only more distinct because of its raspberry jam center. Runeberg tart is best served with tea or coffee on Runeberg's Day, which falls on the fifth of May.
