The Danish are one of the people who really excel in the
kitchen space. They really make some of the sweetest and tastiest pastries you can ever eat in this lifetime. So far, one of my favorite
Danish desserts is the Almond Danish Puff. For you to be able to bake this European sweet food, the ingredients you need are:
-Half a cup of softened butter
-One cup of flour
-Two tablespoons of water
-Half-a-cup of butter
-One cup of water
-One teaspoon of almond extract
-One cup of flour
-Three eggs
-Chopped pecans or almonds
For the glaze, you will need:
-One-and-a-half cup of powdered sugar
-One teaspoon of almond extract
-two tablespoons of softened butter
Before anything else, heat your
useful kitchen oven to the temperature of 350 degrees. Next, half the butter and mix it with one cup of flour until it the two have been mixed into small particles. Put the two tablespoons of water, mix it with the use of a fork, and divide it in half.
Put the flattened batter in a twelve by 3 inches of rectangle cookie sheets, ungreased. Each of these rectangles should about three inches apart so they will not stick with each other. In a small pan, heat half a cup of butter mixed with one cup of water. When it is already boiling, combine the almond extract, one cup of flour, and stir properly for one minute. When it is already in a form of a ball, remove it from the stove, add the eggs and beat it with the other ingredients.
The mixture you have just made should be placed as toppings on your rectangle puffs. Bake it for one hour or until the toppings have turned crispy and brown. Let it cool for a while so the topping will become like custard. For the glaze, mix all of its ingredients. Mix it with one to two tablespoons of warm water until it becomes smooth.
