Sweden is described as a long and narrow country. It is the fourth largest area in Europe. Its neighbors are Finland and Norway. By way of the
Oresund Bridge, one can go to Sweden from Denmark.
Since Sweden is long, it is characterized with coastlines. The countryside is astonishingly beautiful. The woodlands in Sweden are dense. Vast mountain areas are found all over the country, there are various lakes. Most of the area occupied by Sweden is covered with trees, thus the country has a very rich plant and animal life. I personally find Sweden a very beautiful place since it is not as bare as the other
industrialized European nations.
Lately, I discovered that its government is doing its best in preserving the natural heritage of Sweden by creating national theme parks. The parks are immensely beautiful and are unique in their own ways. It is so nice to think the Swedish people are deeply concerned with nature. Only, I find the climate in Sweden very different. The sun, during summer, never sets while the country experiences
long winter. Sweden is really a remarkable place perfect for soul searching and nature tripping.
