We're all a bunch of freaks, don't you think? We have made fast digital information access possible and accessible to the largest number of people all over the damn planet, yet a few of us think of exploiting the dimwits who use this technology! How? Hell, aren't those hacker attacks enough to knock some sense in that dense skull of yours? Now I have heard that these bloodhungry dweebs back in Norway are planning on killing its poor wolves! I think you were trying to protect this endangered species! How come such a radical change of heart?
You see, protecting farm animals is not an excuse for such a murderous thing to think of, you know. This is because there's this thing we call the natural ecosystem, in which those animals actually know who's on top of the damn food chain! But since you bunch of fools think we're on top of it, you also plan on controlling such a natural system now, don't you? I do hope your damn consciences, if you bunch of dweebs do have one, take a better part of your judgment. These are wolves, and they eat up those farm animals as much as why we cook chickens and shit.

In recent news, reporters have told the general population of the actual Norwegian government's plans on murdering 5 of its grey wolves. Don't you know that these poor grey wolves comprise at least a fourth of the grey wolves you have back there in Norway?! Since you plan on protecting the damn livestock you have there, don't you think a much better option is to push some of these suckers off the damn edge of their government building?! Well, that would generally save a lot of farm animal lives and stuff, you know. Most of these lifesuckers have for a snack at least a third of what several people eat up in a day!

Protecting wolves in Norway has been one of the programs the past governments of this country has been trying hard to do. Yet, with this shitty plan, I think those who hold office are currently losing a large share of the voting population's support, don't you think? With this, I urge each and everyone of you to spam these motherfuckers with hatemails and stuff, you know. I think it would even be better for us to smoke these suckers! A better option over them killing these poor wolves now, don't you think?

I don't know whether there's a shortage of gorillas in Scandinavia, or not, but these Scandinavians are now a proud people because they have delivered the first gorilla in captivity. It would be news here if there's a gorilla that has been trained to use a handheld digital device to call President Bush and ask of his plans for the future, but I think the weather back in Scandinavia isn't actually for gorillas, you know. With this, the people back at this Scandinavian zoo, specifically in Sweden, have told reporters of the state of the baby gorilla's mother and the baby itself as being in tiptop shape.
The spokesperson of the Kolmaarden Animal Park in southern Sweden, Magnus Nilsson, has announced that the baby gorilla's gender isn't known at the moment. Nilsson added that it's too early a time to actually identify the gorilla's gender. But this Scandinavian zoo promises the people could play with the baby gorilla once the zoo actually opens for summer. Zoo officials in Scandinavia have also stated that there are lots of gorilla's being raised in captivity all over the planet, but in Scandinavia, gorillas are becoming rarer and rarer as time goes by. It may be because of the weather, or the effects of global warming that seem to affect the gorillas here in Scandinavia, if there ever are indeed gorillas in Scandinavia's wilderness. Well, if there ever are indeed gorillas in Scandinavian wildnerness, they wouldn't raise one in captivity, right?

Three Scandinavian countries have made the necessary steps against the Apple Corporation. This regards the Mac manufacturer's DRM gizmo, the interoperability features it lacks on various MP3 players from other manufacturers, and the policies found on the licenses of their product. If this gadget has fast internet connectivity, then it also has bundled downloading capabilities. Thus, these Scandinavian countries have also tackled the issue regarding this Apple product's downloading capabilities and its compatibility with similar services from other competitors.
But I think what sparked the interest of these countries is the language used in stating the policies found on the licenses of the Apple product. I don't think this is an issue of legality more than it is an issue of patriotism! You see, we have known for more than a few centuries by now how much Scandinavian countries value the sanctity of their respective national languages. I think this move was fueled by the Apple Corporation not distributing the policies on the licenses of their product in the Nordic language. This is certainly illegal in Scandinavian laws and policies, but I think their uptight-assed attitude when it comes to issues pertaining to national languages is more of a factor in their legal move against the Mac manufacturer. Proud as they seem to be, I think they're also making the necessary steps to mask their proud attitude with legal issues!

Since the Olympics, the world hails the league of sports globally. Whether it's the NBA, Football or the Tennis Open, sports fans never get tired of the spectacle, awaiting for the next sports champ that grapples the excitement in their hands. In a recent study and survey in Finland, it revealed that Finnish people are in frenzy for sports.
Sports is an important facets or form of entertainment in their lives. Accordingly, there is a relatively high expectations in the aptitude or success for sports. They also have high regards for national success in international sports as confessed in a National Sports survey. Seventy-eight percent of which expressed a highly positive view. Moreso, media networks in Finland has a wide sports coverage catering to the Finnish fanaticsm. Men are more intense when it comes to sports than women.
Number one on the survey is Ice Hockey as the most well-received and most popular among spectators. Second on the rank is Football while track and fields, and cross-country skiing are considered as interesting individual sports. So, if you're a ports junkie like me, you may very well blend in the Finnish crowd with the same passion and fuelled aura of excitement and anticipation.

The Finnish legal premise of every man's rights gives free access to natural resources set within ground rules. Except for boating, hunting and fishing, this also applies even to foreign citizens in the land. With a comprehensive view of Everyman's Right, we may conclude the Finnish ideals between the ties of man and nature.
Everyone has the right to ski, walk or cycle excluding private property grounds. He or she can go camping in the countryside distant from residential areas. Everyone can pick plants or fruits such as flowers, berries or mushrooms. He or she can fish using a line or rod; sail or row on waterways with motorboat; and even ski, walk or fish on rivers, sea and frozen lakes.
Of course, there are restrictions too. You cannot disturb breeding birds and their nests, other people and their properties and so with gaming animals such as reindeers. It prohibits cutting down trees, collecting woods, lichen and moss that belongs to other people's. Except for emergency purposes, you cannot open fire in someone else's turf. You must regard their privacy with respect by not setting up camp too near or make too much noise. And finally, you cannot drive off road if you don't have the landowner's permission as well as hunt or fish without securing permits.
This code of right is not absolute. We must regard what we have with ample care and respect. While it is every man's right for a free ticket to nature's paradise, the prerogative we have must be countered with responsibility especially in the beautiful landscape of Finland.

I guess, there is no country in the world that does not experience tension in oil. I mean, all over the world, oil is the prime factor in fueling the industry. Transportation would be impossible without fuel. Most of the time, the least affected country is the least industrialized, and Norway is an exception.
Known as one of the leading countries in Scandinavia, Norway, in its effort to save its oil supply, was compelled to raise the prices of crude up to $15. That makes the price of each barrel 20 percent higher. The current appraisal of the oil caused tension to both consumers and producers. Norway expressed its anxiety over its decisions, while the neighboring countries and OPEC clearly understand the situation. Unfortunately, the prices will never decrease. That will remain for a long time. So, Norway is left with no alternative but to raise the prices.
Apparently, there is no shortage of oil supply in Norway. The large hydrodynamics energy source alone could produce enough energy for the Norwegian industry. The problem is concerned with Norway exporting fuel to other countries. There was a rumor that US will likely depend on the Middle East for fuel. The same situation applies to Europe. Norway is a producer of crude materials - the raw materials used to extract fuel. So, if Norway cannot contain the increase in prices, it might find the market lamenting over low sales.

Denmark must have suffered enough from the campaigns of our Muslim brothers to boycott Danish products. Such was the consequence of the ludicrous caricature of Mohammad in a Danish newspaper. Ever since the drawing was published, hundreds of Muslims and non-Muslims were killed or injured in various protests. Literally, all Muslim communities violently reacted over this move made by Denmark.
Alright, the cartoon was drawn for entertainment purposes, at the same time to inform the people of the significance of the featured figure. I mean, the caricature is a part of the editorial page. As we all know, an editorial page features the opinion of the columnist and the newspaper staff as a whole. But, Denmark must have pushed freedom of the press to the limits and its satirical cartoon resulted into remonstrations all over the world.
On the other hand, Muslim communities are appealing for Denmark to apologize to the public. Hey, asking that favor from Denmark is not easy. Denmark would rather take the matters to court than do public apology. In line of this several countries have spoken about the freedom Denmark grants its media practitioners. Sarkozy, the Minister who proposed a new French immigration law said that there is nothing wrong with the cartoon, but with the censorship Muslim applies to it. Yet, the conflict has not been put to a conclusion.

I think it is high time that we keep ourselves updated with the apparent global warming. A month ago, the Scandinavian news agency reported that concerns on the Scandinavian territories are currently being undertaken by the leaders particularly of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Since the aforementioned countries are located in Arctics, they are more susceptible to the drastic effects of global warming than any other countries.
But, amidst the ice melting, authorities still see a bright future in the Arctics. One attempt was to send ships to North Pole. This was properly conducted with the record-breaking news that the ship did not need an icebreaker to sail to the ocean. Although this signals that there has been a great meltdown, still scientists probed into the lands that were left after the icebergs have melt. There, they discovered that there might be a possibility that underneath the Arctic soils oil reserves could be found. Of course, the unearthing of the oils will take a long time. But, authorities are hopeful, and they will not abandon the idea. Well, if this hypothesis is true, then the meltdown has just given us another source of energy. But, to think that global warming caused all these, I guess it will not be a happy ending for us. Even before we discover the oil, we have already been flooded by melted ice.

I was reading the daily newspaper when my attention was caught by an article concerning the parity of male and female gender in the society. The issue has always been the main topic in my office, since it is apparent that most of the employees handling major job positions are men. I admit, I believe the women have their rights to the positions, but that is the way it is.
Hey, I say this not because I am a feminist, but because I believe that equality amongst men and women can be achieved through unity. Is that too deep? It is plain and simple. I remember my colleague told me of the envious situation in Scandinavia. Envious because as a woman, she almost prayed that it was the same here at our office. Well, Scandinavia even received a worldwide recognition for its concern about equality.
I admire the very minimal gap among the genders on political powers, job opportunities, education, and health among Scandinavians. Maybe, their secret in maintaining equality is their respect with strong people skills. I mean, everyone, male or female, is capable of contributing his or her services for the benefit of the country. It saddens me to think that in my corner of the earth, male superiority has prevailed over the time. Maybe, someday, when people come to realize the effects of equality, then my women colleagues will never again lament over discrimination.

In its desire for expansion in Sweden, eBay has purchased Tradera.com. EBay is known to many as the most popular online auction site in cyberspace. Meanwhile, Tradera.com is the chief online auction market in Sweden. Established in 1999, the Swedish online marketplace has about 750,000 listings and has sells a wide range of products. You can buy home decoration items, all sorts of electronic gadgets, and antiques on their web site.
The largest Internet auction web site purchased Tradera.com for an estimated amount of 365 million kronor, 48.3 million in US dollars. The amount covered for the acquisition cost and the equity securities of Tradera.com. On 2002, the Swedish online marketplace integrated the PayPal payment service of eBay into its systems.
Although the popularity of online shopping continually grows in Sweden, according to the company that owns a web site serving Sweden, the acquisition will not have any significant effect on the results of eBay. EBay agrees, saying that it is not expecting that the purchase will have any sort of material impact on the financial guidance based on the release of its earning on the first quarter of 2006.

A Norweigan magazine's reprint of a cartoon published in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten daily earlier this month sparked uproar among the Muslims all around the world. One caricature depicted the Prophet Mohammad wearing a time-bomb shaped turban while another showed the prophet weilding a knife flanked by two men wearing black.
The Muslim community expressed their anger towards the cartoon saying that it was blasphemous. Two of the Muslim world's main political body has asked the UN to resolve this issue. Sheikh Adel al-Mouwdah, a member of the Bahraini parliament demanded an apology from the Danish government and the newspaper that published the said caricature. The editors of the newspaper defended their publication by saying they have the right to express themselves.

Sweden has virtually topped the ticket applications for their football match-up games with Paraguay in Berlin, with England in Cologne, and with the Trinidad and Tobago match. The Swedish fans have applied for a chart-topping record of 304,000 World Cup tickets! The game on June 15 with Paraguay will be held in Berlin and has attracted the Swedish fans. They applied for 98,000 tickets.
For the game in England, Swedish football fans applied for 85,000 tickets. But, Sweden has only been given 4,595 tickets for the Trinidad and Tobago match, 5,099 for the Paraguay match, and 3,047 for the England match. Looks like the Swedish people really prepared for this game. They seem to be buying out all the tickets! Too bad for the other ninety percent who applied for the game!
